Our Company
 Pishku Baby LLC, is operated by Sarah and Michael Galler. The company was founded when we needed to find solutions to our baby problems in 2005.
A note from Sarah Galler
When our first son was born I had read about swaddling and its calming effect on newborn babies. I had great success swaddling him and he became a very easy baby and a good sleeper. Our biggest problem was that he kept busting out of the swaddle before he or I wanted him to! He suffered from Eczema and when he broke out of a swaddle he would scratch his cheeks and cry. When it was time for me to go back to work, I asked my husband to go in to re-swaddle him in the middle of the night. After that first night on duty, Michael came up with the idea for our
swaddling blanket. Michael sewed the prototype and our son slept through the night the very first night and his good sleeping habits are still a blessing today.
When our daughter and then second son were born, they were swaddled in our blanket too. After such good results with our children, I had a seamstress make more. I gave them out as baby shower gifts and everyone has come back with such positive feedback (See our
Testimonials).
Our Quick Sheet was developed after our first son as well. I struggled to change his fitted sheet in the middle of the night when he was a newborn. When the crib is in the bassinet setting it interferes with all the mobiles and music machines attached to the crib. Middle of the night changes were a pain. The Quick Sheet
allows for a quick change if there’s some spit up or diaper explosion (we had several!). Just simply undo the ties and tie in a new Quick Sheet. No lifting of the mattress is required.

Why “Pishku”? My husband is first generation Canadian and his parents are from the Czech Republic. When they saw our first son, they had a cutsie little Czech name for him that morphed into “Pishish” and somehow we arrived at a company name “Pishku”.
